An information flow diagram (IFD) is an illustration of information flow throughout an organization. An IFD shows the relationship between external and internal information flows between organizations. It also shows the relationship between the internal departments, sub-systems, sub-systems.<\/p>\n
A customer needs to make an order. The customer first posts the order to the sales department.
