In the scrum agile practice, the team will typically hold a meeting on time at 9:00 in the same place.<\/p>\n<p>Daily Scrum Meeting<\/p>\n<h3>Purpose of Daily Standup<\/h3>\n<p>Standup <span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">meeting provides a simple means for team members to keep each other up to date without spending a lot of time in meetings or having to write and read piles of status reports. It focus on quick discussion of progress, plans, and problems. The main purpose of the meeting is to let the members of the group quickly understand of: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">What each person did yesterday <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">What they are going to do today <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">If there are any obstacle<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\"> If they need any assistance<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\"> It is daily event for the team to communicate more effectively and improve the productivity of the team. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">Participants of Daily Standup<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\"> Team (required)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\"> The Development Team or team members often meet immediately after the Daily Scrum for detailed discussions, or to adapt, or re plan, the rest of the Sprint\u2019s work. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">Scrum master (required)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\"> The Scrum Master ensures that the Development Team has the meeting, but the Development Team is responsible for conducting the Daily Scrum. The Scrum Master teaches the Development Team to keep the Daily Scrum within the 15-minute time-box .<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\"> Note That: <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">The Daily Scrum is an internal meeting for the Development Team. However, most of the stand up meetings tend to be too long and get unfocused, thereby defecting the purpose of the daily standup. Here are some useful guidelines for a effective daily standup meeting:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The Meeting should be held at fixed locations at fixed times, and should not be late, leave early, or absent. The advantage of doing this is that it allows everyone to form a habit, and by this way, the communication will become more natural and smooth.<\/li>\n<li>The so-called standup meeting, as the name suggests, is standing up and meeting, should not sit, or even lie down. Standing up in a meeting can make the meeting faster and more efficient, and it is guaranteed to be completed within 15 minutes. If you are meeting in a very comfortable position, then this will probably take off a longtime, which is contrary to the original intention of the meeting<\/li>\n<li>Everyone should state their work status in a concise and appropriate manner, and do not go into details. The discussion of the details can be discussed offline. In the meeting, we only pay attention to the status and problems encountered.<\/li>\n<li>One misconception about the daily standup meeting is that members of the team always think of reporting their work to the scrum master. This is not the case.
