In other words, the stand-up is a status update meeting, time-boxed to fifteen minutes with the three basic questions below with ancillary items taken offline by the interested parties.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What did you do yesterday?<\/li>\n<li>What will you do today?<\/li>\n<li>Are there any blockers or impediments preventing you from doing your work?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Daily scrum meeting<\/p>\n<h3>Purpose of the 3 Question in Daily Scrum<\/h3>\n<p>The Daily Scrum is the key inspect and adapt meeting during a Sprint. It is designed to quickly inform everyone of what\u2019s going on across the team. It\u2019s not a detailed status meeting. Listed below are few benefits of having daily scrum meeting:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Synchronize team\u2019s work.<\/li>\n<li>Identifies and removes impediments to development<\/li>\n<li>Adapt daily plan and Sprint Backlog .<\/li>\n<li>Track progress by reviewing and update the burndown chart<\/li>\n<li>Improves team participation and collaboration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What is a Daily Scrum?<\/h3>\n<p>Duration: About 15 minutes<\/p>\n<p>Participants: Scrum Master , the Scrum Team and Product Owner<\/p>\n<p>Rule and Guideline:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Start of a working day at the same time and place<\/li>\n<li>The Scrum Master serves as a facilitator in the meeting<\/li>\n<li>The meeting is held with the whole team standing up so as to not prolong the meeting more than 15 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Each member of the Scrum Team is expected to answer the three questions mentioned above Each member of the Scrum Team should take no more than 2 to 3 minutes to answer the above questions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is simplistic and easy to follow but it\u2019s not really the team speaking with one voice.
