The Montagues and the Capulets<\/a> are two of the great families of Verona, but these two families have an enmity. At the beginning of the play, the servants of these two families start a riot in the street. Prince Escalus intervenes to stop it and says that the troublemakers deserve to die. Later, Count Paris proposes to Capulet to marry his daughter Juliette, but Capulet asks Count Paris to wait two more years and invites him to the ball. Lady Capulet and the old woman try to convince Juliet to accept the Count’s proposal. Romeo is exiled for accidentally killing Juliet’s cousin. Finally, Juliet takes a fake poison in order to be together and plans to elope with Romeo when she wakes up. However, the person responsible for telling Romeo about Juliet’s fake death does not deliver the message in time, Romeo commits suicide because he does not want to live alone.
