{"id":3780,"date":"2022-04-27T10:01:20","date_gmt":"2022-04-27T10:01:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.booksofall.com\/de\/?post_type=product&#038;p=3780"},"modified":"2022-07-11T01:11:20","modified_gmt":"2022-07-11T01:11:20","slug":"south-east-asia-regional-strategy-for-primary-health-care-2022-2030","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/www.booksofall.com\/de\/south-east-asia-regional-strategy-for-primary-health-care-2022-2030\/","title":{"rendered":"South-East Asia regional strategy for primary health care: 2022-2030"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Overview of the regional PHC Strategy<\/h1>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">VALUES:<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The regional PHC Strategy seeks to realize the <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">values of universality; equity; solidarity; accountability; <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">people-centeredness; resilience &amp; adaptiveness; and <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">evidence-driven action.<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">GOAL:<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Achieve universal health coverage, health <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">security, and the health-related<a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/development\/desa\/disabilities\/envision2030.html\"> SDG targets<\/a> by 2030, <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">through a PHC oriented health system. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">OBJECTIVES: <\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Support Member States in enabling PHC-orientation <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">of their health systems<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Serve as a resource for stakeholders to engage in <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">PHC transformation<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Strengthen monitoring of PHC performance <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Stimulate cross country learning and advocacy<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">12 STRATEGIC ACTIONS<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">This set of 12 strategic actions are interdependent, <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">overlapping, and not exhaustive. Progress on one action is <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">often dependent upon and can catalyze and complement <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">improvement in others.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Strategic action 1<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Review and update health-<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">related national policies and plans to reflect PHC <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">orientation<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Develop a context-appropriate national PHC strategic <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">action plan through robust stakeholder participation<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Improve emergency preparedness and response<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Incrementally introduce a comprehensive set of <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">services<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Develop a PHC strategic action plan, including <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">strengthening of district and sub district health <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">systems<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Harmonize externally financed interventions and <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">support with national PHC policies and plans <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Strategic action 2<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Increase and improve financing <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">of PHC<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Mobilize and pool additional resources<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Prioritize resource allocation to PHC within the health <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">sector budget<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Assess health financing systems and PHC parameters<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Strengthen <a href=\"https:\/\/jhpn.biomedcentral.com\/articles\/10.1186\/s41043-019-0178-0\">civil registration and vital dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">systems for sustainable PHC<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Ensure the creation of learning health systems<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Build institutional partnerships to strengthen learning <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">health systems<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Design monitoring mechanisms to enable learning<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Monitoring of the 12 strategic actions can serve <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">to assess, track, and drive progress towards <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">PHC-oriented health systems in the South-East <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Asia Region.
